2025 Unsound Adelaide

Working in partnership with Unsound’s international artistic directors as part of Illuminate Adelaide, my role encompassed artist and stakeholder coordination, contracting and advancing, venue planning, production logistics, scheduling and live-event delivery for complex programs featuring international, Australian and South Australian artists.

In 2025, Unsound expanded beyond a single-site format into three distinct Adelaide venues: Lion Arts Factory, Hindley Street Music Hall and Ancient World.

The two-night program was led by legendary Velvet Underground co-founder John Cale and featured exclusive performances from Wolfgang Voigt’s GAS, Yellow Swans, Moin and aya, alongside Nídia and Valentina Magaletti, LOS THUTHANAKA and a strong program of Australian and South Australian club artists.

The expanded format combined live experimental performance, audiovisual works and late-night club programming. It required carefully coordinated artist movements, venue changeovers, technical delivery and overlapping operating schedules extending until 5am. The Friday program, closing party and two-night passes all sold out.
