2024 Unsound Adelaide

Working in partnership with Unsound’s international artistic directors my role encompassed artist and stakeholder coordination, contracting and advancing, venue planning, production logistics, scheduling and live-event delivery for complex programs featuring international, Australian and South Australian artists.

2024 Unsound Adelaide as part of Illuminate Adelaide presented across two nights at Adelaide’s Dom Polski Centre, Unsound Adelaide 2024 brought together ten adventurous performances spanning experimental rock, electronic music, noise, audiovisual art, contemporary composition and First Nations storytelling.

The program was headlined by Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon and featured rare and exclusive appearances from The Caretaker, Jim O’Rourke and Eiko Ishibashi, ∈Y∋ with C.O.L.O, Bendik Giske, 33EMYBW with Joey Holder, and Ale Hop with Laura Robles.

Major production highlights included the world premiere of Marco Fusinato’s Ashes of Cloud, commissioned audiovisual collaborations and The Caretaker’s first Australian performance. The edition was praised for bringing world-class, cutting-edge sound and performance to Adelaide.
